Enrique holds a PhD in Accounting and Financial Sciences, with extensive experience in both professional practice and academic teaching and research.

Professional Experience

Enrique has over 22 years of experience in audit and financial practice, with extensive knowledge across various industries and reporting standards, including IFRS, Mexican NIF, and US GAAP.

He is one of the founding partners of the Baker Tilly office in Ciudad Juárez, where he is responsible for the audit of financial statements.

Academic Experience

  • Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad Juárez (2005–present), teaching at the undergraduate level. He has been awarded as Best Professor in the system three times.
  • Former Finance Professor, Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez
  • Graduate and Doctoral Professor, Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (since 2010), where he has supervised over ten doctoral theses and served as a member of numerous dissertation committees.
  • In 2001, he was awarded the CONACYT Research Prize, which included an international research grant. He is recognized as one of the youngest PhDs accepted into Mexico’s National Research System.
